Physiotherapy for Sport Injuries

Sports injury is a common ailment we see. Whilst we treat a number of top athletes, many patients working in town do some sort of sport and are treated at the physio practice. The most common sports we see are runners, triathlons, footballers and dancers. Sport Injury Diagnosis and Treatment

sports injuries sprains strains ham string The key is not only treating the sports injury quickly, but identifying the cause, especially if there was no mechanism to why the pain begun in the first place. Unless this is addressed, the pain will keep coming and going and impact the patient's ability to participate in and enjoy their sport.

Treatment of these injuries is essential, otherwise we see secondary complications occurring. Also, seeing the sports injuries quickly prevents them from becoming chronic. At the Physio Practice we aim to see patients quickly and put in place a regime that supports the patient's fast rehabilitation and return to their sport. Please review our testimonials which demonstrate our expertise in the field of sports injury treatment.

My GP told me to see Dr Abrahams as he treated his tennis elbow a few years back. Not only did I find Dr Abrahams to be very honest, but he was such a nice guy. I understood everything he said to me and ive now had 5 sessions with him, and the elbow is brilliant. Not 100% yet, but well on the road to recovery. At least I avoided the dreaded steroid injection.

"Solomon looked after me when I had injuries, and I would recommend him to anyone. He explains things very well, and worked hard at always trying to get me back playing."
